Sathvi Sweety....

Our dear little Sathvi kutty is so sweet.... spent two days with her....

We went to Chiththi's house by around 11 a.m. By that time she was sleeping. After sometime she cried.... Chiththi nursed her. Many relatives came to see her. I met few of our relatives for the first time. But spent a nice time with them.

By late evening, my great grand father ( Amma's Grand father) came along with his family to visit Chiththi & the New Born. He is my mom's maternal grandfather. They started home by around 9.30 p.m. That night, Sathvi never slept... cried for a long time. Really a hectic day for all at home. So many visitors in a  single day.... more than 8 families.... OMG....

Sathvi might be disturbed by these visitors... that's why she is crying too hard and not sleeping at all.

The next morning ( 15th August) we woke up early and got ready for prayers, as that day is Sri Aurobindo's Birthday, a Darshan Day at the Ashram. We prayed for 15 Mins.

By morning 8.30 a.m., Paatti ( GrandMother) took Sathvi to open terrace for sun bath. I asked why she was taken to sun bath in such an young age.... I was told that, Sun bath increases the Vitamin D in the body, which is a much essential vitamin. I have read this in my 1st std science book. But never thought that it has to be done in a new born. Yeah... now that I have learnt this.

During this sun bath time, Sathvi was so quiet. Never ever cried a bit. Oh... she is not a cry baby.... She enjoyed sun bath very much... smiled... watched all our faces.... coo softly.... lovely lovely sweety.... might be she loves to be in warm sun light....

Then she was given a good bath.  We gave our gifts for Sathvi, to Chiththi & Chittappa. We have bought her Sri Mother Symbol Dollar & three dresses of different colours. I loved the red one.  She slept without even being nursed. Let her sleep.... as in the night, she has never slept.

We started from chiththi's house by around 1 p.m. to catch bus to Pondy. Bus experience is totally different for me and I enjoyed my trip to Chennai this time.
